Alison Tubritt Exhibition

One of our former art students Alison Tubritt had an exhibition of her paintings in the Tate Guerin Gallery in Wells House, Ballyedmond, Co Wexford. It is well worth going to see what else is on offer there. The opening of her first ever show was greatly anticipated, her work is available here and at Art by Alison and is open to making commissions.

Alison is finishing her second year of Art college in Dublin. As I was leaving the gallery Alison was in negotiations with a lady who was buying one of her cow series. It will be a great investment as Alison has a bright creative future ahead of her.

Alison among other past art students have set up a facebook page 'RCS Arty Farts' so others can join and share their artwork and information. I hope to see them exhibiting together in Sept 2015

Well done Al

Ramsgrange Community School Art Department

All students can be creative in some way. They need to be provided with opportunities to develop their own creative thinking and problem solving skills. Developing student’s understanding of the need to learn to view mistakes as an opportunity for leaning, rather than something that was unsuccessful.  A positive learning environment where students can voice their opinions and explore new ideas is essential.
