RCS launch of STUDENT ART EXHIBITION

Ramsgrange Community School are holding an Art Exhibition on Thursday the 21^st of May. We are inviting past and present students to submit an art piece for the exhibition. We hope this will be the start of an annual exhibition that encourages, promotes and provides a forum to display their work.

Submissions are not solely for those who study or work in the art, design and craft areas. Past and present students can contribute to this exhibition. There is limited space but we will do our best to facilitate any submissions of 2d, 3d, digital and installation artwork.

We hope this showcase of talent will represent and reflect the different disciplines that our creative young and established artists have specialized in.

Closing day for submissions is 4pm on Wednesday the 13^th of May 2015. Please include full name, work title and media and when you attended Ramsgrange Community School. Submissions can be handed in to the school office or Art department for the attention of Aoife Power the Art teacher.

The exhibition will be opened at 7.30pm after the Leaving Cert Graduation night.  This is an opportunity to gather art work by some of Ramsgrange Community Schools established and promising artists. For more details please contact the school office or misspowerart.blogspot.ie.
